Echinopsis Lobivia

Echinopsis is a large family of cacti with hundreds of member. They are native to South America, usually spiky (“echino”), and infamous of producing beautiful large blooms that flowers more than once a year. They are sometimes being called the hedgehog cactus or Easter lily cactus.

Lobivia can be considered as part of Echinopsis, though they are usually smaller, not-as-spiny plants, and typically flower from low on the plant.
